Vince obtained a Bachelor of Arts
from Illinois Benedictine College, n/k/a Benedictine University,
in 1993, earning his degree in International Business and
Economics, cum laude. One year later he entered
law school and IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law, earning his
Juris Doctorate in 1997. During law school, Vince was a member
of Chicago-Kent's Moot Court Honor Society and participated
in several competitions throughout the United States.
After graduating law school, Vince worked as a law clerk
in the Illinois Appellate Court, Fourth District, Springfield,
Illinois. In this position, he worked closely with several
Appellate Justices in reviewing arguments on appeal and
preparing written rulings. Vince worked on both civil and
criminal appeals during his tenure.
In May of 1999, Vince became an Assistant State's Attorney in
DuPage County, ultimately becoming a felony prosecutor. During
his time as Assistant State's Attorney, he handled thousands
of misdemeanor and felony prosecutions, including juvenile
matters and driving under the influence cases, and conducted
more than 50 trials before judges and juries.
In December of 2000, Vince joined Ekl, Williams & Provenzale
LLC as an associate. After joining the firm, his practice
expanded to representing clients in civil lawsuits involving
many areas of law, including unemployment matters, contract
disputes, construction litigation, civil rights claims,
and banking regulation. He is admitted to practice in the
State of Illinois, the United States District Court, Northern
District and Central District of Illinois, and the Federal
Trial Bar. Vince practices in courtrooms throughout the State
of Illinois, including Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake,
McHenry, and Will Counties. Further, Vince has drawn on his
past experience by representing clients before the Illinois
Appellate Court. His practice also includes drafting contracts,
purchase agreements, wills, and corporate documents, and
handling real estate matters.
