Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 1989.  In 1994 he earned his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law.

Kevin joined Ekl, Williams & Provenzale LLC March 1, 2007.  Prior to joining Ekl Williams, Kevin was an Assistant State’s Attorney in both Kane County from 1997-2001 and in DuPage County from 2001-2007.  Most recently, in DuPage County, he held the position of first chair in a felony court room for over 3 years, and was assigned to the Narcotics Prosecution Unit for and additional 2 years.  He has prosecuted all types of felony cases ranging from DUI and Theft to Murder and Attempt Murder cases.  Notably Kevin was a trial attorney in the case of a man who was convicted after trial of Attempt First Degree Murder of a Morengo detective. He is now applying his extensive litigation experience in both the areas of civil law and criminal defense.
